Beautiful gardens designed for you
An initial 90 minute on-site consultation is offered to define the needs of the client and to discuss ideas and potential options for your space.
Our aim in this meeting is to find out about your needs and lifestyle, and collect as much of the relevant information about the project as possible, thus ensuring an outstanding outcome.
Client Brief , Site Analysis & Research
Following the initial consultation you'll be sent a proposal including: A client brief, a summary of design costs, and a description of design elements requested. Further site analysis, measurements, and research will usually take place on acceptance of the proposal
The initial concept plan will be established using the client brief and site analysis. This will include indicative planting, material suggestions and notations about how certain areas are to be treated. A mood board will be presented, demonstrating the look and feel of the designs, including images of finishes, features and planting styles. These will be discussed to allow for any amendments.
On finalising the concept design, a master plan is developed. This will include; a detailed planting plan with a complete plant schedule, measurements for set out, materials schedule and if required, an indicative lighting plan, and a furniture and ornamentation schedule.
The Master plan will also include design details for constructed elements of the design.
This documentation provides a detailed scope for the landscape contractor, ensuring the full realisation of our design.
Construction and Beyond
MG gardens are able to oversee the project entirely or we can recommend a skilled contractor to complete your project.
Alternatively if you choose to proceed with someone else, Meg will be available to answer questions should they arise during the build process.
We are also able to provide a quote to supply plants for your project, using a range of select wholesale nurseries.
Once completed, a maintenance schedule can be provided to ensure that you can keep your garden looking at its best.
